Australian Independent Care Services Pty Ltd provides participant-focused disability support across Tasmania and Melbourne.
Who we are
AIC Services is the trading name used by Australian Independent Care Services Pty Ltd. Our website identifies AIC Services as a registered NDIS provider offering disability support across Tasmania and Melbourne.
We provide a range of supports including Supported Independent Living (SIL), Short Term Accommodation (STA), Medium Term Accommodation (MTA), Individualised Living Options (ILO), in-home support, respite, daily living assistance, community participation, transport, transition support, personal support and employment support.
Different participants need different types and levels of assistance. Our approach is to begin with the person: what matters to them, what their routines look like, who they want involved and what practical support they are seeking.

NDIS and service language can be difficult to navigate. We aim to explain AIC Services support options in practical language and make the next step clear.
Practical support
Support may involve home life, accommodation, respite, community access, transport, daily routines or building greater independence, depending on the service being discussed.
Working with participants, families and support networks
Participants decide who they want involved in conversations about their support. Where the participant wants family members, carers or other professionals involved, those people can help provide useful information about routines, strengths, risks, communication preferences and existing supports.
We aim to keep the participant's voice central while communicating clearly with the people they choose to involve. This is particularly important when someone is changing providers, considering supported accommodation, organising respite or introducing a new support routine.
Respect, safety and clear boundaries
Disability support takes place in people's homes, communities and everyday lives. That makes dignity, privacy, respectful communication, agreed responsibilities and attention to safety important parts of the support relationship.
When discussing a service with AIC Services, participants can tell us about important routines, communication needs, cultural considerations, mobility or access requirements, and other practical information that may affect how support should be planned.
